Total Player Pathway: Phase 5
The Boys ECNL Program provides our U13-U19 members the highest level of competition available on a Regional and National level called the Boys Elite Club National Leagues (Boys ECNL). Teams will be challenged in top-level events and leagues throughout the country. The height of competition will be based upon the individual and the level of the teams. This program is the final phase within Eclipse’s Total Player Pathway before players move onto their college or, for those talented enough, professional careers. The Boys ECNL is an invite-only league, that consists of the top youth clubs across the country. A club’s ability to play in the Boys ECNL requires an invitation from the respective league. The top youth clubs across the country play in the Boys ECNL. Eclipse Select is proud to be one of the founding members of the Boys ECNL as well as one of its top performers since the inaugural 2017-18 season.
For Eclipse Selects’ Elite Program players ages U-13 through U-18/19. This platform challenges each and every athlete with competition against the nation’s top teams and clubs. For high school-aged players, this has attracted massive appeal from a scouting standpoint and exposure to college coaches and national team scouts is unparallel. The ECNL has proved to excel in recruiting opportunities for our membership. It is a top priority for our staff to assist our players in finding the right school, athletically and academically, where he, or she, will be successful.
About Boys ECNL
The Boys Elite Clubs National League (Boys ECNL) was founded to improve the daily environment for boys youth soccer players through a collaborative club-based development program featuring competition, player identification, and coaching and club development platforms. The Boys ECNL will include both regular-season conference games and cross-conference events, and qualifying teams from the Boys ECNL will advance to the post-season Elite National Premier League (ENPL) Playoffs.
The Boys ECNL is based on the values of grass-roots collaboration and innovation and supports the independence and freedom of coaches and clubs to fully manage the development path for their players, including the system and style of play, the competitive calendar, and all aspects of the development path. The Boys ECNL will raise standards in training, competition, club organization, and coaching in a holistic development program.
The Boys ECNL will be led by a Board of Directors elected by the member clubs.
