WEEK 8 2022 RUNDOWN- Eclipse Select Alumni
Our alumni tallied another excellent week of play across the college soccer landscape. One notable performance coming from sophomore Korbin Albert (SO/Grayslake, IL.) who had a standout weekend for the Irish with a total of 3 goals, 2 against NC State and 1 against Florida State, to push Notre Dame’s winning streak to 3 games.

GOALSCORERS
Gabbie Cesarone (SR/St. Charles, IL.) tallied her fourth goal of the season, scoring the game winning goal for the Golden Gophers off of a corner kick in the 23rd minute to beat Iowa 1-0. Kiki Van Zanten (SR/Buffalo Grove, IL.) scored her second game winner of the season off a penalty kick in the 26th minute, pushing the Irish past NC State with a final score of 3-0. Erin Oleksak (SR/Palatine, IL.) scored her ninth goal of the season in the 37th minute, pushing the Knights to a 4-0 victory over St. Francis. Jack Finnegan (JR/Hometown, IL.) found his second and third goals of the season in big games for the Badgers against Michigan and Drake. Hannah Bebar (SO/Naperville,IL.) scored her sixth goal of the season in the 10th minute in Harvard’s 5-1 win against Cornell. Morgan Fagan (SO/Glencoe, IL.) scored the game winning goal for the Terriers in the 58th minute, beating American 1-0 and pushing Boston’s winning streak to 4 games. Molly O’Rear (FR/Naperville, IL.) tapped in her 2nd goal of the season for the Crusaders in the 25th minute of play, ending in a 2-0 win over Evansville.

PLAYMAKERS
Adriana Berruti (SO/Berwyn, IL.) tallied her first assist of the season in Southern Indiana’s tough match against Lindenwood, ending in 1-1 draw. Tommy Coughlin (FR/Crystal Lake, IL.) found his first collegiate assist in Green Bay’s 2-1 win against Western Illinois.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
Francesca Faraci (SR/Park Ridge, IL.) reached new goalkeeping season highs in the Gator’s game versus Arkansas, coming up with 6 saves and 0 goals allowed. Gandhi Cruz (SO/Aurora, IL.) was named to the Big East Honor Roll for his performance in the last two conference games, recording 9 saves on the 36 shots he faced.
Over 95 Eclipse Select Soccer Club alumni, both male and female, are rostered across every level of college soccer at Division I, II, III, and NAIA. There are 28 alumni designated as freshmen entering their first year of college. The remaining includes 34 sophomores, 20 juniors, 8 seniors, and three graduate students with an additional year of eligibility.
