WEEK 13 2022 RUNDOWN- Eclipse Select Alumni

A big congratulations is in order for our alumni and their accomplishments during the regular seasons across the collegiate landscape, as well as our players who have advanced into the postseason playoffs! An especially notable performance headed into the postseason comes from senior Erin Oleksak (SR/Palatine, IL.) whose game winning brace in the Knights 3-2 victory over Taylor University earned them the Crossroads League Championship Title last week. Oleksak’s efforts also earned her the Crossroads League Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season, as well as the Crossroads League Player of the Year award for the fourth consecutive year, finishing the regular season with 17 goals and 11 assists. Oleksak and the Marian Knights are set to host the first round of the NAIA playoffs this Thursday against Bellevue.

Katie Knutte (SR/Lemont, IL.) and the Tigers are not done yet! Knutte’s goal in ONU’s 2-0 win over Trinity Christian stamped their ticket to the NAIA National Tournament. The Tigers will advance to the first round of the Tournament against Scad Savannah this Thursday. Ingrid Falls (JR/Lake Forest, IL.) tallied her second goal of the season in the Wildcats’ 3-0 win over SIUE in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Falls and the Wildcats will advance to the second round against Vanderbilt this Friday. Zivana Labovic (JR/Schererville, IN.) found her fifth assist of the season for MSU in their 3-2 victory over Milwaukee in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Labovic and the Spartans will take on TCU in the second round this Friday. Korbin Albert (SO/Grayslake, IL.) has now pushed her scoring streak to twelve goals over the last 9 games with a goal in Notre Dame’s 5-0 win over Omaha in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Albert and the Irish will go head to head with Santa Clara in the second round this Friday.
