WEEK 6 2022 RUNDOWN- Eclipse Select Alumni

There were plenty of notable performances yet again across the college soccer landscape this past week. A standout from the weekend being a rocket of a goal from Mia Perri (JR/Roselle,IL.) in Dayton’s 4-0 win over George Mason that landed her the #6 spot on the Sports Center Top 10 List.

 

 

GOALSCORERS

Riley Philbin (SO/Northbrook, IL.) tallied her first career goal as a Badger in Wisconsin’s 2-0 victory over Indiana. Julian Saldana (SO/Dundee Crown, IL.) scored the game winner in DePaul’s 3-2 victory against UIC. Mia Milazzo (SR/Orland Park, IL.) contributed a goal and an assist to UMSL’s successful weekend against both William Jewell and Truman State. Isa Cook (JR/Elmhurst, IL.) scored her third goal of the season in Marquette’s 3-2 win over DePaul. Reegan Kingpavong (JR/Rockford, IL.) had a goal and an assist in the Huskies’ 2-0 victory over Toledo. Laura Butler (SO/Chicago, IL.) found the back of the net for the Mines in their 3-0 win versus Black Hills State.

 

 

PLAYMAKERS

Katie Koker (JR/Racine, WI.) aided in Marquette’s 4-1 victory over Butler with her first assist of the season. Kiara Pralle (SO/Bourbonnais, IL.) had an assist for the 49ers in their 3-0 win against UTEP. Freshman Preston Huitron (FR/Aurora, IL.) tallied an assist in the Flames’ 3-0 win over Bradley.

 

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

 Adyson Duran (FR/Momence, IL.) had her starting debut this weekend against Creighton, facing 16 shots and coming up with 5 saves in UConn’s 2-1 victory. Gandhi Cruz (SO/Aurora, IL.) faced 22 shots and made 9 big saves in the Blue Demon’s hard fought win against UIC. 

 

Over 95 Eclipse Select Soccer Club alumni, both male and female, are rostered across every level of college soccer at Division I, II, III, and NAIA. There are 28 alumni designated as freshmen entering their first year of college. The remaining includes 34 sophomores, 20 juniors, 8 seniors, and three graduate students with an additional year of eligibility.
