WEEK 4 2022 RUNDOWN- ECLIPSE SELECT ALUMNI
Several Eclipse alumni had outstanding performances during this past weekend of the 2022-23 collegiate season. A major storyline included Notre Dame’s Kiki Van Zanten (SR/Buffalo Grove, IL.) and Korbin Albert (SO/Grayslake, IL.) combining for a total of 3 goals and 2 assists in their victories over Purdue and Ohio, pushing the Irish to a 7-0 record.

Jenna Stayart (FR/ Cary Grove, IL.) provided both a goal and an assist for Tennessee in their 6-0 win over Queens.Gabbie Cesarone (SR/St. Charles, IL.) found the back of the net for Minnesota off of a header in their 3-0 win over Marquette, her second consecutive corner kick goal of the season. Ella Richards (SO/Chicago, IL.) tallied her third goal of the season in a 2-2 tie against the Army. Laura Butler (SO/Chicago, IL.) scored her second goal this season for the Mines in their 2-0 win over Seattle Pacific. Katie Knutte (SR/Lemont, IL.) scored her first goal of the season for Olivet in their 7-2 victory over Indiana Northwest.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCE
Ainsley Ahmadian (SO/Naperville, IL.) was awarded Ivy League Player of the Week and TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week after a stellar performance last weekend. Ashton Kudlo (SO/Schereville, IN.) played all 90 mins for IUPUI, shutting out Evansville and coming up with 4 big saves in their 2-0 victory. Preston Huitron (FR/Aurora, IL.) earned his first career start on 9/5, ending in a 0-0 draw with Loyola-Chicago.
Over 95 Eclipse Select Soccer Club alumni, both male and female, are rostered across every level of college soccer at Division I, II, III, and NAIA. There are 28 alumni designated as freshmen entering their first year of college. The remaining includes 34 sophomores, 20 juniors, 8 seniors, and three graduate students with an additional year of eligibility.
