WEEK 3 2022 RUNDOWN- ECLIPSE SELECT ALUMNI

Labor Day weekend saw several Eclipse Select alumni make notable performances across the college soccer landscape during Week Three of the 2022-23 season. A major storyline included freshman Sarah McCracken (FR/Naperville, IL.) scoring her first collegiate goal for the University of North Dakota in their battle against Minnesota.

 

 

GOALSCORERS

Ainsley Ahmadian (SO/Naperville, IL.) scored a total of 3 goals over the weekend in games against North Carolina-Greensboro and NC State, now leading Harvard in goals scored at 4 for the 2022 season. Marian midfielder Erin Oleksak (SR/Palatine, IL.) tallied her second goal of the season in a 2-0 victory over Missouri Baptist. Maddie Schlect (JR/Naperville, IL.) found the back of the net for Miami in their 3-0 win over UIC. Liz Bretchel (SR/Joliet, IL.) found both a goal and an assist in the Salukis 2-0 win over Alabama A&M. 

 

PLAYMAKERS

Harvard midfielder Hannah Bebar (SO/Naperville, IL.) tallied a total of 2 assists this weekend, pushing her assist streak to four games. Wisconsin forward Jack Finnegan (JR/Hometown, IL.) tallied his second assist of the season against Western Michigan. Isa Cook (JR/Elmhurst, IL.) assisted a goal in the 72nd minute of the match to push Marquette to a 5-0 victory over Green Bay. Kennedy Berschel (JR/Bensenville, IL.) got her first assist of the season in a 3-2 win over Indiana State. 

 

Over 95 Eclipse Select Soccer Club alumni, both male and female, are rostered across every level of college soccer at Division I, II, III, and NAIA. There are 28 alumni designated as freshmen entering their first year of college. The remaining includes 34 sophomores, 20 juniors, 8 seniors, and three graduate students with an additional year of eligibility.
