Williams was a major contributor to the G2006s only allowing 14 goals scored in the regular season and has previously received a call-up to the US Youth National Team Camp in 2021.
“Kendell is a great young lady with a very bright future. She is a dual athlete and is very capable in excelling in both basketball and soccer. Kendell’s range stands out right away. Her ability to move and cover the goal and space is truly incredible. Her crossing game is truly special and has the presence to control the penalty box. She is very calm with the ball at her feet and understands the spaces well which makes her very successful in possession. Overall, she is a great athlete and although there is still room to improve, she has the competitive drive to take her where she wants to go.” – Rade Tanaskovic, Director of Goalkeeping.
The ECNL National Training Camp is free of charge for the players; the ECNL, Puma, and Nike Soccer cover all of the costs associated with the camp, including hotel and ground transportation, meals, coaching, facilities, and equipment. The only cost for players is transportation to and from the camp. During the camp, the players have the opportunity to compete in front of top colleges from around the nation, are trained by some of the top youth coaches in the country, and learn from a series of off-field presentations from experts.
