Molli Beard is from Libertyville, Illinois and attended Libertyville High School. Molli was a three time all conference high school player and a three time all area player, as well as a two-time all sectional player. Molli helped Libertyville to a state championship in 2001 while garnering offensive MVP honors in 2001. She played soccer for Eclipse for eight years winning four state championships and two regional championships. Molli was a two time national finalist and a two time national champion with the Eclipse U23’s.
Molli played division I college soccer at Southeast Missouri State University and graduated in 2007. She won one regular season championship and two tournament championships advancing to the NCAA tournament in 2006 and 2007. She led the team in goals and points as a freshman and sophomore and was also named player of the week. Molli was a 4-time academic all-conference selection and captain of the team her senior year.
Molli helped coach two years for the SEMO youth club team while in college. Molli has worked numerous camps for the GLSA and Eclipse programs over the years and has an E license. Molli has a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a doctorate in physical therapy and is pursuing her sports physical therapy certificate and is a sports clinical specialist.
