West Soccer School

Spring 2010 Classes Offered

Speed and Dribbling: Thursdays: April 15 - May 20 from 6-7pm;  6 Sessions- 60 minutes each.  Boys and Girls- Ages 7-14

How fast can you dribble? Do you have a 'trade-mark' move? Are you faster then your opponent? This class focuses on increasing speed, improving and developing dribbling technique, and the best way to beat your opponent in a 1v1 situation. It will provide players with proper technique and maximum repetition in running with the ball and 'moves' to fake out your competition. Speed is a critical factor in being able to get past your opponent once you have 'faked' them out, so our program integrates sprinting form and efficiency tips that will have your player dribbling on their technical edge!

Finishing: Wednesdays: April 14 - May 19 from 6-7pm ; 6 Sessions- 60 minutes each.  Boys and Girls- Ages 7-14

How many different ways are there to score a goal? Find out at our Finishing classes. The emphasis for this class is on the: "how many, how to, when to and where to", of shooting and beating goalkeepers and defenders. It will provide players with the proper technique and maximum repetition striking a ball that a regular training session doesn't allow. Recommended for any player that wants to score more goals this season and beyond!

It is perfect for players new to traveling or for recreational players that want to make a traveling team. Players will be challenged through games and competitions that are engaging.
