The Eclipse Select Soccer Club is proud to sponsor the Soccer Ability League program. The main purpose of this outstanding program is to offer children with disabilities of all ages the opportunity to play soccer and become part of an Eclipse Select team and family. Eclipse Select has coordinated a Soccer Ability League program in the Chicagoland area over the past three years. It has been a rewarding experience for everyone involved and we are thrilled to continue to develop the program moving forward. The Soccer Ability League has become part of the Eclipse Select tradition, as it is an invaluable opportunity for us to give back in many ways.
Molly Uyenishi and Sarah Uyenishi are the coordinators of the Soccer Ability League, and the Eclipse Select Soccer Club is working together to develop and coach the team. Numerous Eclipse Select players will also be involved by volunteering to lend a hand at games and practices.
A special thanks to Adidas for donating uniforms to all participating athletes!
2011 SPRING SOCCER SEASON will begin May 7. Location will vary between Mundelein and Evanston and will be based on where the participants are coming from. We will always try to make our Ability League schedule as convenient as possible for you. If you are interested in the Eclipse Select Ability League and have not received the informative email this spring, please contact Sarah Uyenishi and ask for it. Detailed schedule will be sent out and posted on our website soon.
We look forward to meeting and working with all of the children, and would like to welcome all Soccer Ability League players and families to our Eclipse Select Family!
